The Lure of MLM Selling

12 Agustus 2009

There are some people who are just naturally great at sales. You can see it in them even when they are children. They seem to have a knack for persuading others to do what they want. Once an adult, they use this talent to persuade others to buy what they are selling. Companies love them because they make a lot of money and the smart companies make sure to compensate them well. Eventually great salespeople begin to explore their options because they are not satisfied with their income, or because they want a new challenge. For whatever their reasons when they decide to make a move, many are lured to the possibilities of MLMs.

Starting Strong

Proven successful salespeople like MLMs because they are sales-driven environments. They already have the skills and talents to start out strong. They understand the business and what the goals are, to make sales. They do not have to be taught about sales they can jump right in. They already know the power of advertising and marketing so they know how to harness these tools and make them work.

Striving for More

Once in an MLM they quickly see past the possibilities of the first level sales and up toward the income generating possibilities of being a Sales Manager/Sponsor. Successful salespeople can figure out most compensation systems and they know that to make the higher income they need to become a Sales Manager/Sponsor and have their own sales force making money for themselves and for them.

Recruiting the Best

Because successful salespeople know what it takes to make it in sales, they look for that in their recruits. Recruiting just anybody is bad business. If the new recruit doesn’t enjoy sales or meeting people, then it is a waste of time and money to try to turn them into MLM successes. The forward thinking salesperson will look for potential recruits that have a natural affinity for sales and are highly motivated. These people can quickly be taught the MLM system and soon start making sales, sharing a percentage with the lead salesperson.

Reaping the Rewards

Cyberwize offers great salespeople something they probably cannot get at a traditional company, and that is control over their time. Traditional companies usually want their employees on a schedule, working eight hours a day, five days a week. It may take fifteen years or more before the typical employee earns ample vacation time. In a MLM, once the salesperson has developed a strong and dedicated sales force, he can reap the rewards. He can take a long vacation or extra days off and still generate income because his force is out making sales and he’s earning a percentage. He has in a sense created his own business, but without all the traditional trappings. Because it is an MLM he doesn’t have to worry about making payroll or supervising employees. The salesperson has built a career where he can enjoy his job, his income, and his life.
